6 month old doesn’t want to sit up but is starting to crawl.

My 6 month old is completely refusing to sit up on her own, she can sit up aided but when left to sit up on her own she pushes herself back or falls over to the side. Every day I’m sitting her up trying to get her balance but nothing has been seeming to help, she prefers to be on her front and now she’s starting to crawl. She’s started turning herself around whenever she is on her front, shes started to crawl towards objects that she wants, it’s not so much as crawling yet it’s more like an army crawl but she’s definitely on her way. Everything else has been brilliant, she’s babbling and you can see that it won’t be long before she says her first word. Should I be concerned? I know the guidance says to contact your doctor if they’re still unable to sit aided at 9 months but I’m just wondering if it’s something to worry about if she is able to sit aided but sort of refuses to on her own.

Hello
I don't think you need to worry. My child started to crawl (7months) some weeks before being able to sit well. He was just more interested in moving around and reaching for things than sitting still. He could than sit well after few weeks but still didn't like to do it. He is absolutely fine motor wise. Started to walk at 12 months and run at 15.

Thank you! My baby is much more interested in trying to grab things and trying her best to move towards what she wants to get! I’ve just been a little concerned about her not being able to sit up. I know every baby goes at their own pace and that they’re all different but I’ve seen a lot of babies, some a little younger than her too sitting on their own so I was a little worried.
