Been walking for 2 months but no more than 5 steps without holding hands

Hi everyone, thanks for reading this.

My darling 18 month old son has been walking for two months, but he only ever walks when I am holding his hand.

He does about five steps alone whilst walking to his dad, but that's it. And only ever from my arms.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get him to walk independently.

Hi, no advice really but following as my 19 month old is the same! I think it must be a confidence issue but we are seeing the health visitor next week as I'm getting a bit concerned now.
