I need advice, I’m really struggling with my 6 year old daughter, she can be the perfect child and then suddenly flip. We ve just had our second evening of the week where she shouts and screams and gets physical with me. Second time this week she has slapped me around the face and although that might not seem that bad, let me tell you a 6 year old does have a lot of power behind a slap. I have tried everything, ignoring her, shouting back, taking things away, discussing the situation with her when she has calmed down to see if we can find a way to stop it happening again but when she gets in that head space she’s really not very nice and doesn’t listen/react to anything, I’m at my wits end.
