Just that really, I have a generally unsettled 6 week old & this is my last thing to try, however having googled it seems a lot of people say it works & a lot say it's all rubbish. Any reviews any Mumsnetters would be willing to share?

I had a really unsettled baby a long time ago and didn't bother as the reviews were really mixed then.

Later we realised it was Tongue Tie.

I rate it and recommended it to friends who also saw results.

@k17 Can I please ask in what way you think it benefited/worked for your LO?

My little boy had tongue tie revision, but was still really unsettled. He was never happy, hated tummy time, could only turn his head one way and wasn't pooing. (We had 14 days without a poo).

I'd had a bit of a traumatic birth, he got stuck and so came out with a squashed head and no neck.
They diagnosed him with torticolis.
We took him at 7 weeks and it literally gave me a new baby. He was turning his head after two sessions, and was instantly happier and pooing.

We went back 6 months later as i was worried because he wouldn't roll over he had no interest in crawling. Again, they worked on him, and bam, the next day he was rolling all over the place.
That time she said he had tightness in the bottom of his spine.

It may alllll be a coincidence, but I'm a believer.

@k17 Thank you, that's really interesting!

@SiouxsieSiouxStiletto I haven't thought about that as he gains roughly a pound a week in weight at the moment. Did your LO have any other symptoms?

Absolutely worked for us. It was 10 years ago now and I'm still so impressed.
My DS had horrible reflux, didn't sleep at all, would be sick as soon as he was put down, I tried everything, tilted cot, cushions etc. Only rest we got was 2 hrs a night with him upright on me. And short naps in the day, again upright on me. It was actually torture and I fell into PND.

At seven months I took him to a cranial osteopath. She had him flat on his back, by the end of the hour he was flat out, it was incredible. He'd never slept lying flat whatsoever.

That night he slept 5 hrs straight. It was really insane. It wasn't an immediate fix but things improved slowly and after a few session we were regularly getting 5-7 hrs a night (with one wake up) which was unheard of. Also less colicky, less crying etc.

Honestly, I wish I'd known about it earlier.

I highly recommend.
