Hello, i am making this new post for a very specific questions. My 10 month old baby girl never coo since birth in response to us talking to her. She started babbling at 8.5 months (7.5 adjusted) but she dont really babble a lot. Now she just turned 10 months (9 months adjusted) on the 26th, she never really make any sounds in response to us talking to her. She will just look at us, trying to open her mouth (like she would like to talk) but nothing is coming out from her mouth. She will juat smile and turn to play. Is this something to be concern about? I clearly remember she never really coos at all. But she has been blowing raspberries a lot before she started babbling. My only concern is the lack of trying to communicate by making any sounds to respond when we talk to her. Looking forward to your feedback and thank you so much.

You answered "no" to some important questions about your baby's communication development

She also dont clap, wave or point. She was born early Sept. 26 but due on October 18. Not sure if it has somethinf to do with it

The progress checker was for babies just turned 9 months so I'm not sure the early birth would make much difference with this? I could be wrong though.

Anyway, I'd give their helpline a call and see what they suggest. They might suggest that you ask the HV for referrals for a hearing test and to do the Ages & Stages 10 month Assessment Wink
