My 5 month old screams/screeches constantly for the past week

Hi, this is my second baby and never had this with my first. For the past week she has been screaming constantly. Sometimes crying but mostly high pitched screaming. Sometimes she looks distressed other times not. The only way I can pacify her is by holding her outwards and walk around with her continuously all day. She used to coo but has stopped for the past couple of weeks. It’s so hard as I can’t put her in ergobaby carrier outwards yet as she’s still too small and she hates being inwards. It’s so difficult because I have a toddler that I have to run around after and I hate leaving her screaming sometimes to deal with the toddler. Anyone else has this problem? Thanks

Yep!! My almost 5 month old did this for about two weeks up until this week. She still screeches but no where near as often. I don’t really have any advice as we just had to ride it out. I did find talking to her and answering her helped. In the end we think she just discovered a new sounds she’s now bored of.

haha glad it was short lived!! I actually think mine has started to calm down a bit much to my relief 🤣🤣 obviously just wanted my attention!
