My little boy is 2.2 yrs old and has suddenly started being scared of the oddest things. The Gruffalo (a story he used to love) has apparently taken up residence in our hallway and this is very much not a good thing.
Turkeys and dragons are also on the new no-no list and require banishing from the bedroom at nighttime after he saw a turkey at Battersea zoo (admittedly it was really ugly; freaked me out a bit) and the dragons/lions dances we saw when went to look at the celebrations for Chinese New Year.
What are your little ones fears? And how do you help banish them?

Aitch and minkus, odd about Baby Tumble, will watch it with him next time and see if I "get" it.
It would seem Justin is a scarey bloke, but I think Numberjacks wins doesn't it?

As a toddler DD was afraid of people in crash helmets and men with beards which meant that she was scared of my brother for a while as he has a beard and rides a motorbike.

Also, DD is scared of the big bad wolf. I've never read her the three little pigs, but she saw it on Wonderpets once, and was terrified. Today, this new programme on cbeebies SQUIGGLE also did the Three Little Pigs. Different wolf, same idea, she was cowering behind the sofa again. Nice to know what I can use to SCARE her into obeying my ever command, heh heh heh, mwaahahhhhaaaa!
