I wondered if anyone has noticed this in their son/daughter or relative, or even if you work with kids (school, psychologist etc) and if you noticed these kinds of behaviour. Behaviours include negative, lack of empathy, enjoyment from from.
I'd like to know others experienced, their take on it and what they think this could be signs of, and what the ones they know have grown up into (functioning healthy adults or a tendency for crimes etc).
The boy, a distant relative, in reference has shown these signs:
- Hitting ants with a stick on occasion when younger.
- Interest in morbid subjects in general (interest peaks when overhearing about something bad).
- Interest in seeing a dead body.
- Interest in making games where the toys get hurt.
- Enjoying winding up to siblings, such as calling them skinny/fat and liking the effect it has on them.
- Very motivated by goals.
- Labelled as on the autism spectrum from school and the parents agreeing.
- Singular attention.
- Prefers online games with others, such as fortnite. But often lots of shouting/getting angry when others don't do as he says in the game.
