To think my 2 year old is getting too much attention

Hi!

My almost 2 year old is constantly wanting to be entertained . Although i really love him lots it can get frustrating and I feel bad for not having the matched energy to play with him constantly. I also worry that he'll struggle to be independent and creative in the long run.

Thing is.. we live with the in laws (since he was born but as our place is still not ready)! Everyone absolutely spoils him! gives him 24/7 attention. If I leave him with his grandparents they constantly give him attention and do everything he demands. Am I right in thinking he may struggle in the long run from all this attention?

When it's only me and him he's always stuck to me "mama play mama play". I feel bad to be honest. I also don't want to create tension by telling my in laws off for not allowing him to thrive creatively and independently. It feels like a burden when I leave him with them because they don't just let him be they're always 24/7 playing with him and giving him undivided attention CONSTANTLY! How can I compete with that 😩😩😩😩😩
