My 2 (3 In a few months) is way ahead of her age! Her health visitor said her speech and communication is that of a 4-5 year old, and she's also very tall for her age. Most people assume she's 4!

She's already writing numbers up to 15 and recognises simple words (mummy, her own and my partner's name. No and dog!) She can copy shapes and her drawing is surprisingly accurate!!

Its awesome, and I'm so proud of her (and myself. Must've done something right!) But I'm really struggling to push her in the right direction, I have no idea how to support her or help her learn. She's my only child and I'm a single parent, dad isnt around and doesn't support at all. I have a partner who's amazing with her, much more patient than I am lol. But neither of us have any experience with kids, let alone teaching and guiding someone so smart!
She's so confident too, I'm naturally shy and introverted and very anxious! I struggle to keep up tbh.

Any ideas on how to encourage her and support her? She's absolutely exhausting tbh but I really want to help her keep stimulated as she's bored easily at things aimed at 2 year olds. I don't really know where to start.

My DS was like this. I did things with him obviously but I also sent him to preschool so I could have a break.

I'd maybe think about playing some games with her, Orchard Games do ones suitable from 2 abc as lovely as it is that she's this advanced just remind yourself that it's never an indication of adult achievement, just enjoy how she is now.
