I had a baby girl 8 months ago and she was born at 6 pounds and lost about a pound of weight within the first couple of weeks. I cant get over how small she had gotten and it eats me up everyday. I have pictures of how perfect and chubby she was at birth, and then how she slowly became skinny and it breaks my heart. She quickly gained weight and is now a thriving 8 month old who's chubby and perfect. My best friend had a baby a couple weeks ago, and her baby was only a pound bigger than mine but she's so much chubbier in the face and everywhere else. It made it bring it all back to me. I started going down the archives and looking at my daughter lose weight through the pictures in the first few weeks and now my then newborn looks tiny in comparison to my friends baby.
My baby was born at 38 weeks due to complications.
