Children's behaviour worse as it gets near to Christmas.

I have a 5 year old daughter and 4 month old son.

I've noticed this year and last year that my girls behaviour gets worse as it gets closer to Christmas, has anyone else noticed this?

I suppose with the normal routines being disrupted etc, it's to be expected.
Has anyone for any advice on that to do to help, please?

It's the not listening in general, not going to bed and then being way too over tired and then wakes early as a result and so on. Just am at my wits end at what to do.

Thanks for reading and any advice.

Yes it's just because they are shattered from school and loads of other stuff going on always doing something and no time to just chill out. I've been strict this year and making sure we have plenty of afternoons just lounging at home as they need it. Cold weather doesn't help either

It's quite normal as the PP says. School do a good job of whipping up the excitement and there is so much more pressure these days to fill every moment.

Try to give her some relaxing time at home and a few early nights.

4 months can sometimes trigger a bit of bad behaviour when'll after s sibling has arrived as it begins to dawn on the older one that the baby is here to stay and is with you whilst they're at school.
