Milk/soy allergy in baby? Blood in stool

You guys I’m exhausted need some advice
How long does it take for blood to go away from babies stool. We have been having this problem with blood in his stool since he was 2 and a half months old. He is now 5 months and still having blood. Not everyday… but sometimes it’s more than once a day.. sometimes it’s a lot ( by a lot I mean alittle more than a few dots) he poops so much.. like 6 times a day sometimes more!! But
his other symptoms have gone away for the most part like gas, pain, and the smelly poops are gone. Most of his poops are not mucus anymore which is good but I still don’t understand the blood. Im living on rice, potatos, fruits, veggies, and meat and chicken. I have lost all the baby weight and I don’t know what else to cut out. I am mentally so exhausted that I just want to run away. I love breastfeeding him but I’m being pressured into formula by my mom.

So my question is how long did it take for blood to completely go away?? And how much was it?

Should I give up breastfeeding? Should I wait? Or cut out more food :( help

That does sound tough and I would have imagined that any symptoms would have gone after 6 weeks.

Has he been referred to the Allergy Clinic yet?

So doc said we can but there is no testing until he turns 6 months. He said just take notes but I’m really nervous

Personally I'd take the referral to the allergy clinic. He's 5 months already and you don't know how long the waiting list is.
