Do you have a baby between 1 and 24 months old?
Is English your family's primary language?
Are you raising your child with a same-gender partner?

Participate in our research study!

The UW Language Development and Processing (LDP) Lab (Principal Investigator: Naja Ferjan RamĂrez) is conducting a study on infant language development and the ways in which parents support this process. We are currently recruiting families with infants aged 1-24 months raised by same-gender parents/caregivers.

The study can be done from your home and includes:

  • two surveys taken on your phone or computer: one to be taken by either parent, the other to be taken by both parents;
  • one weekend voice recording in your home, using recorders and fun baby vests that we send you;
  • and one brief report on your child's vocabulary.

You will receive up to $110 for participating in this study. The information provided in this study will remain confidential and secure.

For more information, please contact Adeline at (206)746-8915 or at [email protected].

We cannot guarantee the privacy of information sent via email. Human Subject Approval: Study #15871.
