My baby was born 9 weeks early due to preeclampsia she is now 16 weeks old ..8 weeks corrected.
I thought that she was getting ready to teeth in the next couple of weeks due to starting to chewing on her fists and dribbling a lot but she is actually teething now she also has came out in a bad rash on her chin, inconsolable crying, pulling at her ears and I looked in her mouth and I can see two white lumps either side up in her gums which I am pretty sure are teeth coming down 🥴
I know it’s unheard of for babies to teeth this early let alone a preemie but it doesn’t surprise me as my baby has always been very forward when she was in the hospital she left NICU considerably early and surprised the doctors with how quickly she learned to do things. She is already rolling, smiling and now teething.
My baby is still under 4kg so I’m not wanting to use calpol very often only when I am desperate because of her weight I have to get a prescribed dose from the doctors.. but it’s the only thing that seems to work at the moment
Teething rings are too big for her mouth, what are the best things that I can use?! I thought I’d have more time to prepare for this so I’ve not done any research
