My little girl is 13 weeks and is Exclusively breastfed. She has been having some issues since birth. From reflux and consistent spitting up to not sleeping in the day. Just recently she started sleeping at night but wakes often. Here are my concerns, hopefully someone can advise:
- last 4 days she had 3 episode of strange behaviour. First one she was laying on her back in her cot and interacting with us but all of a sudden her face went sort of blank like she couldn’t breathe/silently choked. When picked up quickly she burped.
- today night she was sleeping and ‘gasped’ for air making that gasping sound.
- when she was feeding on the breast she fell asleep (as she usually does) and suddenly few minutes later she threw her leg and arm in the air and made they gasping sound again.
her spitting up is way better now. Up till she was roughly 8-9 weeks she would spit up number of times after every feed. Now it’s maybe once or twice a day and very light.
she despises going in the car seat and screams nearly all the time but she does behave better if non stop occupied by me.
she doesn’t sleep in the day unless in our arms, on our chest only. She won’t sleep in the cot or the sleeper. So if we don’t do contact naps she won’t sleep. At night she sleeps in the cot and wakes every 1-2.5 hours roughly.
She is very irritable.
im incredibly stressed and going back and forth from to the gp but nothing so far.
her poops bath too, sometimes they’re ok sometimes they can be loose like water . I’m very tired of all of this and just want her to be ok .
