Teach me to listen and obey and Hanen - worth getting?

Hello. I have a 2 year old with suspected autism. I want to do what I can to get her talking and following instructions. I’ve heard of Teach Me to Listen and Obey dvds. I understand there’s a YouTube channel too. Are the dvds worth getting or is You tube enough?

Also, do you think the Hanen book ‘More than words’ is worth getting? Or is there another book or resource you’d recommend?

Thank you, from a very worried parent.

I’m sorry you’ve not had any responses and hope things have improved for you.

my SALT suggested the Hanen programme and there are some licensed therapists in the uk. My LA does very few sessions so we need to top those up.
it’s too early to say as we’ve just started but we’re being given lots of tips. Main ones are to include yourself in the child’s world (sit opposite them/copy their movements so you enter their world)
I think the books are on kindle and work out cheaper.

good luck OP, I will say that I spent a long time obsessing over my DD not taking but now I just want her to be able to communicate with me
