Toddler speaking in third person... and nursery??

Hello, a question here about whether to approach this with nursery.

At my son's 2 year check, the HV noted my son still talks about himself in third person, and suggested that we try to use first person pronouns to model it. So not 'mummy loves tea' but 'I love tea'. Wevl've done this, and he is improving. He's now three years old.

However, at nursery a few days ago I noticed one of the staff chatting to my son in third person. 'Want to come with Margaret? Margaret will take you upstairs... come with Margaret'. Should they be speaking to a three year old in third person? Should I say something or just leave it?? Thanks!

I had that with my son. He had one of his nursery targets as to refer to himself in the 1st person! (he was older but has global developmental delay). I was v confused as he always did with me. I think he was very much mimicking how the adults spoke at nursery. I mentioned it to his key worker and they consciously modelled correct use of the first person and he met their target straight away. I realised that I sometimes did it too, 'Mummy just needs to put the washing on and then...'
