Really struggling with dd2 and sleep. She’s hugely active. I love her to pieces and I’m grateful she’s healthy and active. Walked at ten months, dances with her older siblings and started to sing songs. She will nap snd self settle. She’s on the 90.+ for height and weight. I’ve tried shorter naps, longer naps, finishing naps by three, bed earlier, later but no Matter what she will wake up for hours at some point after midnight. Used to be two/ three hours now it’s four/five. We have to be up by 6 for work/ school. I work evenings so cant go to bed earlier. Exhausted doesn’t cover it. She doesn’t want to be held, doesn’t want to get in bed with us she just wants to get out and play. She gets really angry and cries because she’s not being allowed to play and will have the whole house awake. Any ideas?!!

Same age Sam problem and it's killing me!!!

I do think with us it is teething but last night she woke up coughing st 11pm just as I had fallen asleep and didn't go back to sleep until 3am!!! Not crying just chatting shouting kicking end of cot.

Any advice you get here I'll be looking our for eagerly

Sounds like split nights, the only thing that solved it for us was time. I remember the horror but it does pass.

At least it’s not just me. I’ve tried moving her to one lunchtime nap this week but it’s made no difference really. She slept through last night but she does that every 4/5 nights just because she’s exhausted I think them back to the same.
