My almost 3 year old has suddenly become super clingy to me and rejects any request to do something with his Dad. He's always been super close to his Dad.
We had his little brother 7 months ago and he was initially upset about this but has since settled down.
I think it's to do with him feeling jealous and wanting to get me to himself (away from baby) and my husband thinks he's upset with him because he works a lot.
Anyway has anyone else been through similar or does anyone have any tips on how to improve the situation ? Or do we just wait it out and ignore it? It's hard because he won't let my husband put him to bed, get up with him, even sit next to him on the sofa and he has even been hitting him. My husband is pretty upset. He tries really hard to build time into his schedule to play with him and have quality time every day. I have 1:1 time with him when my youngest son is napping.
