Hi everyone, my boy is 7 and recently he became attached to another boy in his class who really scares me. This boy is highly intelligent and sugarly sweet in your face, but recently I kinda started to suspect he has sociopathic traits that really worries me, considering he is close to my son. And I am not that easily scared or paranoid. Just some examples:
- he tells his friend's mom that he had the best time at his birthday party with his usual angels smile, and than tells the same kid next day that his party was the worst, his parents are ugly etc etc
- he incites other kids to do potentially dangerous things at home like adding stuff to teas etc
- there is another mom in our class who is famous for her cooking, often inviting kids to house parties etc. Everything is always homemade and delicious, but this boy tried all the dishes first, made grimaces like pretending that he is going to throw up and convinced other kids not to eat this "poison"
- he likes to demonstrate his superior intellectual skills, but if proven wrong or someone betters him no matter adult or kid, he tries to hurt them phisically either immediately or later in carefully thought through manner
- he treats his mom like dirt while super polite to teachers or adults who don't know him well etc
- and yes it will sound like I am paranoid but he started to give me the creeps. There is something that is so off about his demeanor, fake smiles and different voices he speaks to different people
My kid is really shy and introvertish, manipulated easily and started to copy certain things from this boy or asked by him to do so. He also started to come with bruises from the activities his "friend" dared him to do. I am not sure how to address this or raise with someone.
