My son is on and off with his food at the min so find it interesting what other children are eating as maybe my food options are getting boring!

Today we’ve had a good day and eaten:

6am - 5oz milk
07:30 - porridge with 1tsp golden syrup, x1 banana and a handful of blueberries
09:30 - raisins and juice with x4 mini jammy dodgers
11:30 - chicken nuggets from Tesco deli (we were doing the food shop 🥴) and some cheese and crackers when we got home about 12ish
3pm - Apple and a chocolate brioche bun

Coming up:
5:30/6pm - we are having sausage and mash with veg and gravy for tea
07:30 - 5oz milk before bed

Sausage roll
Lentil curry

Lolalovesmarmite · 21/11/2021 17:37

Half a bowl of weetabix with a few Cheerios in.
A cupcake (we were baking)
An orange
A cut up apple
A small plate of tomato pasta with dairylea melted into it (fridge is looking a bit bare!)
Another orange
Small plate of roast - pork, potatoes, peas, broccoli

About 8 sippy cups of full fat milk.

He’s 18 months. Not particularly fussy but gets distracted at meal times.

My almost 20mo is a rubbish eater at the moment.

8am ish - breastfeed
9am - yoghurt, raspberries (refused cereal and crumpet)
12pm - breastfeed
1pm - bit of garlic bread, tiny bit of macaroni cheese, few chips, bread and butter, some juice
4pm - one single segment of orange

Granted he has been unwell this week, usually I don’t breastfeed him in the day but to be fair it makes zero difference to what he eats. Even when he’s well he just messes with his food at the moment, apart from at nursery where he eats two lots of everything!

This is going to sound unhealthy. Breakfast was half a muffin and 7 Oz of milk then a hotdog for lunch😬. Then about 3 Oz of milk before nap. Dinner was shepherd's pie, sweet potato and brocolli with a piece of garlic bread and half a cupcake for afterwards. We have also been baking. We haven't had any fruit today as I've run out. Normally I offer fruit after most meals.

That’s a lot of sugar! Syrup, raisins, juice, jammy dodgers and a brioche. Not being judgemental just noticed that’s all.
