Extremely fussy eater and won't sit in high chairs

I need help, my son is 21 months.
He is incredibly picky, I mean he will eat potatoes and porridge occasionally bread, and anything sweet. I can't get him to eat meat or veg without hiding it and if he notices he refuses anything after. He's also refusing to sit in high chairs completely, I've put him on vitamins while he has been like this to make up for it as much as possible but he's been like this for about 5/6 months, he doesn't really drink milk he's always hated the stuff so has about 4 yoghurts a day and full fat milk with his porridge. I'm seriously concerned and struggling to get him to eat anything that's not bloody potatoes! Can anyone help?

Can't really help but our daughter has been the same for about 4 or 5 months. She's now 22 months and suddenly eats like a champ and likes her chair. I realised that she hates it when I try to attach her. I removed the baby bit from her stokke chair and she is much happier in it. Just need to watch her a bit. Also, I noticed that she eats much better when I don't watch her or force her to eat. I think she just wants to be in control.

I'm hoping it's just a phase but it's been going on for ages and I just don't know what else to try.

Have you tried a mini table and chairs? Helped my son eat more as he likes his independence.
