My 5 year old has gone to football for 2 weeks. He started 3 weeks late as we were isolating.

He was all over the place, falling around on the floor. Not following instructions. Anyone else had this?

I coach an U7's rugby group so children 6 yrs old at the start of this school year and that's sounds pretty normal.
Some of them having being doing it for just over a year (on and off with the covid stoppages).
Quite a bit of each session is getting them to listen, get up off the floor and off of each other.
It will get better as they get older but there will always be a bit of messing around, even in my oldests age group of 11-12 Yr olds.
