13 month not weight bearing/unusual standing

Hi!

We are waiting to see Physio in just over a week, but thought I'd ask as google isn't coming up with anything useful!

My 13 month old pretty much refuses to bare weight, if she does she stands with her feet pointing out to the sides and holds all the weight on her heels?! She will only hold it for a couple of seconds too.

She can't pull to stand, only pulls up as far as her knees, has been doing this for a few weeks now. Bum shuffled from about 11.5 months. Crawled a week before her birthday, initially dragging one leg behind her a wounded soldier for a couple of weeks... now she crawls normally.

She also didn't sit unaided until 8.5 months, so I don't know if she's just slow physically, or if there's something else going on!

Any ideas? Anything I should specifically ask the physio about?
Many thanks!

Is she seeing a Paediatrician as well as a Physio OP? I think I'd want it investigating Smile

Thank you for your reply!

No, HV referred her to physio at her 12 month review as she wasn't (and still isn't) doing any of the things in the gross motor section of the ages and stages questionnaire.
Will the physio refer us to a paediatrician if she thinks something is amiss?

Not sure but I would book an appointment with the GP on Monday abs ask for a referral. It sounds like she needs assessing sooner rather than waiting Thanks
