Bit of a click bait title but it's true! My 28 month old has this thing where if I go into his playroom or the living room he immediately runs to close the door so I can't leave. He does this not only to me but also to his dad and any visitor we had (pre lockdown).
At first I thought it was cute, he just wanted us to play alone together. But a little part of me worries that he is developing a fear of being in his own or that we might leave him.
Anyone else had this from their toddler? Is it just a control thing for him or does he feel abandoned by us?!
