7 yr old always angry lashing out and arguing

My dd is 7 and at the minute she is lashing out alot. She argues over every little thing but doesn't give it up and she will start shouting at me or her sister and she sometimes hits her sister. Not hard but when I tell her off she gets a smirk on her face. If I tell her no for something she will go on about it constantly asking then when not getting her way will slam doors etc and practically screaming. Is this behaviour something I should worry about? She has had to isolate twice since September and I do believe the lockdowns are making her act out more. I hug her all the time and she does talk to me if she's feeling particularly down or worried but it doesn't change her behaviour. If she's doing something and I tell her stop most of the time she just completely blanks me and carries on like she can't hear me (she can though!) She doesn't act out at all at school. What would you do? Is it just a normal phase do you think? Trying to push the boundaries? I should also say her dad died 4 years ago when she was 3. Im not sure if that would alter her behaviour now.
