4 month old suddenly taking 2.5 hr naps- growth spurt?

Hey lovelies, my 4 mo lb has had extra long naps all yesterday and today. Usually his longest nap length will be an hour. This morning his first nap has been 2.5 hours so far and still going. He's okay in himself apart from a bit of teething pain I think. Is this just a growth spurt or anything to worry about? Ftm of course

It could just be a new routine, or he could be a little under the weather. As long as it isn't accompanied by a rash/floppiness I wouldn't worry and enjoy the extra peace and quiet.

My 4 month old slept for three hours this morning. It was glorious! He’s always taken very long naps in the morning and shorter ones through the rest of the day though.
