2 month old trying to suck her hand/fingers

My 2 month old is ebf and doesn't have a dummy. It's obviously personal preference but I've always hoped not to use one for various reasons. However she has started trying to sooth herself but sucking on her hand or trying to find her fingers. I'm wondering if I should be discouraging it somehow or whether she'll grow out of it, and also whether there are any other options to comfort her? She has a comforter toy but isn't able to grasp and hold onto it yet but I'm wondering if this will perhaps be enough when she's able to hold it. Thanks

Aw your baba is in a big new scary world, as time goes on you'll be grateful for anything she finds comforting. Let her be 🥺

.....sucking her hands and fingers is a 2-3 month milestone, it's what she is meant to be doing.

@AladdinMum oh brilliant, I hadn't realised. Thanks

She’s simply found her hands Smile
I remember panicking at that age thinking my baby was teething really early! We never used a dummy either and 10 months old now with no comforter.
