How can I help my 3 year old with a lisp? *title edited by MNHQ at OP's request*

Looking for help advice please;

My 3 1/2 year old has a bit of a lisp with certain sounds (sh,ch,j, qu,tr). Reading up on it I think it's a Lateral Lisp - these sounds are slightly slushy. He doesn't have any other issues with his speech and sucks through straws fine and often.
Is there anything I can do to subtly help him with developing these sounds and could he grow out of the lisp by himself?
