Hi!
I am having a bit of a hard time with routine/nap time/bedtime etc etc and just wondered if any of you would mind sharing your daily routines (even vague ones) with me? My LO is 10.5mths.
Thanks x

Hi! At 11 months, our little guy’s routine started at about 6.30am. We’d all get up and he would have milk. Every kid’s nap needs are different but I think by then he was having two naps. Then in the evening we’d start the bedtime routine about 6 so he’d be down by 6.30. He was sleeping in his own room since about 6 months old. All of this is based on a book by Lucy Wolfe. One thing that really stuck in my mind is that the first nap needs to be longer than the second one. When we did this it made his night time sleeps much better!

Hi @Max1140 thanks for the reply.
My LO is struggling to fall asleep at the moment. I can't work out if he's too tired/not tired enough or if it's just a phase so wanted to get a feel of what other babies his age are doing incase there's something I'm missing.
He is on 2 naps (well, I try although sometimes now he skips the morning nap) but interesting you say about the first one being longer as I've been doing the opposite. I might try switch that around and see what happens.
He used to sleep 12 hours at night but now has reduced that to about 9/10 which doesn't seem enough to me!

Yeah that sounds familiar! Give it a try - we had to wake him from his second nap for a few days until he got used to it. Good luck!
