3 months old baby wants to stand up all the time

Hello mamas,

I have read an old thread about this ,the comments say many mothers experienced this with their babies, but no one actually said if they know or found out from a specialist(not mothers, grandmothers, friends) if its wrong or bad to hold the baby standing up?

My baby is 3 months in a week and he gets very upset if I dont let him sit on his bum or stand up in my lap (always and only supported ,of course). I dont do it for a long time and I hold him slightly above my thighs, just so he can touch with his toes.
I cant find anything online related to this ,all information is about children that are over 6 months.

Thank you in advance for any comment.
Take care

I personally don't see an issue, our 7 month old loves standing supported on our laps and jumping around.
He's been doing this from an early age, probably same as yours.

I think the key thing here is at no point have we forced it.
If he wants to stand we take care of the balance and he pushes himself up.

He's thriving and enjoys the exercise 😂

My LO is exactly the same and has been from around the same age - It never even crossed my mind that it could be a problem!

Although I should say my LO now supports his weight, so I’m basically just steadying him, I think that started at around 4 months
