What are your 9mo routines? Are we dealing with separation anxiety?

9mo is up 6.30/7, naps for 1.5h at 9.30 and 1h at 2 with 7pm bedtime.
Settles on her own for naps but screams as soon as you leave the room at bedtime.
Needs to be picked up or will scream. Once held needs to be rocked until pretty much asleep before you can lay her down and make a run for it.
May need to do this a couple of times in next 2 hours, some nights not, never the same.
Luckily once settled sleeps through.
Is this SA or are naps/bedtimes not right?
Her room is pitch black and we have white noise.

the recommended "awake" time for 9-12m is 3 hours tops (including feeding and putting to sleep). I think she is overtired. She should ideally sleep 10-12 hours at night and 2-3 hours daytime in 2 sleeps.

Our nearly 8mo goes to sleep at 8 (8:30) and is usually sound asleep latest 9pm. Sleeps (with feeding interruptions) till 7-8am. Naps 11 - 12:30 and then naps again around 4pm. He is a lot happier now that he sleeps more. If overtired during the day I even let him sleep in 3 naps, when he is too lively, walks too much or gets too excited. Basically more sleep should help you.

@zookeeper interesting what you say about awake times as I've read 3-4 hours at this age, with the longest time at the end of the day.
