Tips for toddler and baby sharing a bedroom?

Hi
I’m currently expecting baby 2 and starting to read up on all things siblings. We have a 2 bedroom house so when baby is 6 months she will move into her big sister’s room (who will then be 2 and a half).

I just wondered if anyone has any advice for making this easier? My biggest worry is one waking the other up. Do you stagger bedtimes? Anything to help in general would be great to know from the get go :)

Hi we will be in similar situ. We will move bsby at around 8 months. Toddler will be 2 years and 10 months.

@Rubyroost is there a reason for choosing those ages? My eldest was in her own room at 6 months but I want to get the balance right x

@mamablondie2 not really. It is when my older one went in his bedroom and when I stopped b feeding him. He was also sleeping through by then. Only seemed fair to b feed them the same amount of time! 😂. I don't know if my younger one will follow suit in terms of sleeping through, but I bloody hope so. 🤞

@Rubyroost okay so similar thinking to me then!! Yes I know what you mean, my eldest is a dream 90% of the time!! I don’t know how we would cope with an all night crier tbh x
