9year old girl with anger and attitude

So my daughter has always been very controlling especially with me. She's also 9 but going on 14! Not sure if lockdown is having a part to play in this but she's recently become full of attitude, rolling eyes, answering back, don't care attitude. When she is asked not to do this it gets worse and normally ends up with her stomping off angrily shouting and screaming up the stairs. Worse case scenario is when her phone and ipad are removed and then its a lot of hitting out at me, pushing and taunting. I normally take myself away from the situation but I'm followed until I end up losing my temper and it ends up in full on shouting match. I'm now even more concerned as today her nest friends mam called me to let me know of the text trail between the two. Lets just say I'm less than pleased with my daughters attitude towards her friend. don't message me, I don't want to be friends anymore, lets just call it a day, you can talk to your parents I cant. It was all very dramatic and possible attention seeking ? and seemed to stem from a Roblox gift!! (hate this game) Anyways just asking if this is normal behaviour of a 9year old?

how long do you take the screens away for when she hits out?

It varies tbh. A week - 3 days - over night..

it might be better to have a consistent approach but try reading 'The Explosive Child'
