So my LO has been feeling pretty hot to the touch these last 2 days but acting just fine, feeding fine etc. She had her jabs but was feeling hot even before that , i got the the nurse to check her temperature b4 jab and she was 37 degrees, so slightly over the recommended temperature for her age (3.5 months). Nurse just said dont over dress her in this warm weather but all she has been wearing is one sleep suit (ive currently undone a few top buttons). She sleeps in one sleep suit when its very warm with super light blanket that has holes over legs. What do you think? Is this normal or should I be more cautious/check with gp?

Get a thermometer so you can her check temperature.

You can't judge just by feeling her. It's very warm at the moment, we're all hot to the touch! Babies do tend to be little hot bods.

Check her temperature! And keep checking it until she is no longer hot to the touch

There are lots of guides available to help you dress baby at night, it’s hard to say if you’re overdressing her without knowing the temp of the room. Just google something like ‘how to dress baby at night.’ Sleep bags are useful so you know the tog.

Please, please check baby’s temp. I don’t want to upset you, but my LO ran a temp with no other symptoms when he was very young and was very seriously ill. He recovered, but the extent of his recovery was due to me catching his temp and going to the hospital within hours.

Sorry forgot to say I have been checking regularly and it's been about 37! I also have a nursery thermometre. GP said 37 is fine, esp if her behaviour is normal which it is. I'm glad to hear your LO got better

Go with her temperature, not how she feels.

If temp is fine and everything else is fine, I would say she's probably fine!

Thank you @Mummyofmay2020 😊

Sounds like your on it, like @NuffSaidSam said, she is probably fine! They do know how to worry us don’t they 😂
