9 week old baby waking up with tummy pains exactly 2 hours after feeding

Some advice please!

My baby has been waking up with pains exactly 2 hours after nearly every feed. If I start feeding her at 3.12am, she'll wake at 5.12am crying and squirming and its usually followed by a poo or a fart. This has been happening for 2 weeks now. I was exclusively breast feeding but introduced a formula dream feed last week. I've spoken to the doctor who prescribed baby gavison but I don't think this is the solution.

Has anyone else experienced this? I was hoping she'd grow out of it but not sure now. The frequent waking it hard on all of us!

Thanks so much. :)

Do you wind her during feeds? My son was windy, still is at 20 weeks, but he can pass wind easier on his own now. At 9 weeks took hours to feed and burp him, I had to burp him every ounce, for 20 mins after in lots of diff positions, and frequently bicicle his legs and give him tummy massages. He is on infant gaviscon for silent reflux but that was more back arching and swallowing and crying during/after feeds for him.

Thanks Aimzxd

Yes we burp her during and after a feed and she does huge, adult sounding belches! We’ve been using infacol for last week but not sure that has made a difference.

I’ve also been doing tummy massage during nappy changes.

A friend suggested putting her to sleep on her side as that worked for her twins...
