14 month old grabbing hair/face

DS has always been quite rough with grabbing at us. However, I feel that he's old enough now that it's not accidental any more and most of the time seems to be aimed at DD (who's 3). Pulling her hair or grabbing her face. We can't seem to figure out any pattern to it and also not sure how to respond. At the moment we tell him no and move him away but he just laughs Hmm and then heads straight back over, often to do it again.

This article aims to stop biting and hitting but I think you should be able to use the techniques in this situation too. HTH Smile

Thanks, have had a look. It's difficult as he's quite young still and between a baby and toddler! Have started keeping a note of when he's doing it to try to identify any patterns but it has also made me see that he's doing it a lot more than I had realised!

I think I'm also going to try and get DS and DD to play games together more (not sure how yet!) and so have more positive interactions - although DD is remarkably resilient to the repeated hair pulling, poor thing.
