7 year old 'adult' smelling sweat

My DD is recently 7. We live in a very hot and humid country so the fact she is sweaty is very normal (everyone is permanently sweaty) but I just noticed recently that the smell when she swears under her arms smells like adult sweat - that sour smell. She doesn't smell when you just sit near her- I only notice when she cuddles me and her arms are round my neck.
I'm just a little worried that this a sign of puberty starting and she's a bit too young. She's no other obvious signs - no breast buds or hair. She is tall but she always has been - it's not a recent spurt - she's grown proportionately each year.
Any thoughts on whether I should follow this up ?

My seven year old smells quite unpleasant when sweaty. She doesn’t seem anywhere near puberty to me. I wouldn’t worry, just make sure you are supporting her well with hygiene x

Thanks Magicstars does your DC have the adult sweaty smell though?! I find it a bit disconcerting on her ....Grin
She showers every day and is encouraged to have a good scrub under the armpits!

Yes I think she does, but as we live in the uk Hot weather & sweat is not a big issue!
