Surprises and three year olds

We're taking the DSs to see Thomas the Tank Engine tomorrow.

I told DS1 (3.4) that we were going to do something really special and would he like to know what it was or would he prefer it was a surprise.

He said, "I'd like it to be a surprise, thank you, Mummy"

And later, I asked him whether he was sure he wanted it to be a surprise, he said, "Yes, thank you, Mummy. Please don't tell me!"

Is it possible he's 45 and I haven't noticed?!

My god those eyelashes!!

hunkermunker · 16/08/2007 00:01

They're longer than any I've ever seen, NSF! He looks like a china doll sleeping - a china doll with unfeasibly long eyelashes!

I taught him to blink on command so I could watch them flutter
