Our 8 year old daughter (shes not mine but we have full residency) twiddles with herself, as we call it 🙄 we have had a chat and said its fine but a very private thing etc etc. We went to the docs last year to discuss as i suspected alot of it was done for comfort and wanted to know if it was ok and normal (they had a bit of a traumatic 18months with their mum and came to live with us quiye suddenly) GP assured me it was and not to worry.

Today she came to me and told me her minnie was sore, OMG it was swollen and red - i am a bit traumatised. I asked her if she was had been having a twiddle and she said yes, and i explained that area is very delicate and whilst it is ok to twiddle you must be gentle.

What shall i do? I dont want to scare her? Back to the GP or stop panicking? Pls help
