4 year old good at school, bad at home?

I have a 4 year old in reception. Who is an absolute delight at school. Hes funny, hes friendly and he wants to learn. The second I pick him up, its constant screaming, crying...proper meltdowns. He no longer listens to me. It doesnt help that my 3 year old is at preschool, so picking him up as well as also added huge stress to the mix. As my 3 year old has the same behaviour problem once I get him from school. I am so drained by it all now, I dread picking them up. I've even tried to change my behaviour and nothing works.

Your not the only one I have a 4 year old just started reception and shes not the same little girl sins starting everything is a battle and crying and moaning for no reson what so ever I also have a 3 year old how hates walking so walking home from the school run is something I dread doing every single day fingers crossed it will get better but who knows?
