Hi,
My 14 month old baby doesn't like anyone. Friends, other babies, children, we just can't mix because I spend the whole time soothing him, he screams, cries and is genuinely upset. he sometimes seems scared. We have a lovely time when it's just us two, he's a smiley happy baby but I really need friends, I'm a stay at home mum and it's getting so lonely every day. Understandably, people have drifted away, stopped coming round and stopped inviting us because it's too much for them to deal with, I'm not good company at all, I can't even have a conversation with them and their child doesn't have a playmate my son screams and cries if they go near them. It's the same if we go to baby groups. The health visitor says it's separation anxiety but I'm not leaving him anywhere. He is happy being left with family. This has been happening for ten months. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Thank you
