SO cross with 14 yo DS but am I over reacting?

My 2 Dss (14 and 10) were playing in the garden, typical brotherly puppy fighting stuff. I could hear DS2 asking DS1 to let him go as he needed a poo. It went on for a little while so I went out to intervene and then saw DS2 pulling down his shorts and pooing on the lawn as he couldnt' hold on any longer. Thankfully, DS2 did not seem too upset by this but I was beyond furious with DS1 for prevening him from going to the toilet and potentially removing DS2's dignity.

Half an hour later I am still really, really cross. Do I need to get a grip?

A calm reflective conversation one on one tomorrow morning with DS1- with moderate but v calm bollocking and some mandatory restorative justice. The older son needs to know hisbehaviour was wholly unacceptable.

Since DS1 prevented DS2 from going to the toilet, did you make DS1 clean up the mess?

Good one peaches! That should have happened!
