My dd is shaking her head for no, when will she nod?

My dd is 8 months and shakes her head when she doesn’t want to do something, I’m just wondering when she’ll nod for yes and when your dds and ds did either the shake or nod.

She’s also using blankets for peekaboo and hiding but she isn’t very vocal yet. Is she on track?

My DS started shaking his head for no probably around 9 or 10 months. He was also playing peekaboo himself around 10 months. I don't think he nodded for "yes" until about 15-16 months, but when he started pointing at 13 months he would sort of do this little "request" grunt to make it clear he was asking for/showing something.

Don't know if that helps!

Yes thanks it does! Grin

Also I didn’t think anyone would reply so I’m flattered to see someone has 😂

She was adorable playing peekaboo today, she’s 8 months on Sunday so glad she’s on track in some ways. She isn’t a vocal baby, but I’ve been told not to worry as she’s meeting other mile stones.
