Hi all

My son constantly rest his tongue between his lips, 90% of the time awake and 60% of the time asleep too!

Some might say it looks cute, but it’s really too much. Should I go see someone???

Could it be oversize tongue? Just a habit he will grow out of? Could it affect speech?Who could I see?? He is very vocal though.

My gut says bad habit. He is well on track with all dev milestones. Any ideas?

Hopefully he grows it of it

Hey! I really don't want to worry you and I'm sure it's nothing (I've thought my boy had various health issues over the past 9 months and actually mostly fine) but i read this and thought it might be something for you to consider. If you're worried, probably worth seeing a GP about it just to be on the safe side.

Also his little mouth is absolutely adorable.

Hello,

My 6 month old baby has done this since birth too. I'm wondering if anything came about why your baby done it or did he just stop doing it? Thank you.

Hi there, I know this is a very old post but did anything come of your experiences with this? My daughter does the same and I’m afraid it’s Beckwith-Weidemann Syndrome 😢
