Potty training early when she's showing the signs. Worth it?

l. Does anyone have any experience with potty training early? How did it work out? I am NOT wishing to push my baby and was always happy to wait until she shows us the signs BUT my 14MO is starting to show some of these signs (tugging nappy, patting nappy to tell us she needs changing, going to the corner of a room to do her business) Are these signs reliable. I'm not going to start her until she's at least she's a
Nearer the 18month mark anyway as I just don't think many babes have the awareness or forward planning til this point but I just wanted to know how reliable people have found these signs and whether it's worth starting so early if she's showing the signs. I don't want to push her or set her up to fail. Thanks x

I didn't find the signs at all helpful.
Dc1 was dry overnight at 22 months when an older friend said she was a baby because she wore a nappy. She had showed no signs at all, but rarely had an accident.
Dc3 decided to give it a go because the two older ones had a school drop off which I walked that took around 1.5 hours between both schools. So I needed to do it during the summer holidays. Again, there were no signs, but I explained to him at 25 months and it was pretty much overnight.
Dc2 had all the signs, including asking to sit on the potty and they haven't been ready at all.

My DS has lots of signs early and I tried at 18 months. Wasn't completely terrible, but wasn't ready to understand holding on between need to go and getting to potty . Tried for 3 days. Didn't work.

I think around 2yrs is more suitable for earliest training , more bladder capacity. All our friends with daughters seemed to have found them to train earlier than boys.

My DS was 2 yrs 7 months when I retried. He was ready a few months before, but timing was right with some trips away etc.

I'd recommend the gentle potty training book.
