Toddler won’t say mama only nana

My son turned 2 in January and is able to chat in 2 and 3 word sentences, to both children and adults, however he calls me ‘nana’ instead of ‘mama’. We practice good modelling as a family and my husband and I, along with our 6 year old daughter, will correct him, but to no avail. He has the ability to pronounce the ‘M’ sound, eg Moo, Milk, Mine, but when I ask him to say ‘Mmmama’ he replies ‘Mmmnana’. Should I be concerned?

He can't pronounce all the words yet!

My daughter was saying mama before she was one and speaking clearly by his age, hence the concern (mainly regarding his hearing). My niece who is a year younger than my son is also speaking more clearly.

No need for the attitude.

OP the children are all individuals who will develop at their own individual rates even the siblings. They will all get their in the end.
