When sort of age do boys need to start wearing deodorant?

^^ as above. What age? My son is just 8 and doesn’t need it. But will it be soon?

I know it most likely differs between different children but what age did your sons need to start wearing deodorant??

my son started using it at age 11

When he starts to smell after exercise! Some kids I know started age 8/9. My son was about 11.5 before he needed it
