My little one has a cold and won't eat much

My little one who is 18 months has a cold. Runny/blocked nose, low grade temp, cough etc. she is drinking liquids very well but only picks bits of food or snacks here and there. Any advice? Tried calling the doc but obviously closed today. Called 111 and the clinician advised I alternate between calpol and nurofen and call the doc to have her chest checked out.

Just let her eat as little as she wants and concentrate on her fluids. She'll get her appetite back when she's on the mend.

Fruit smoothie lollies/ freeze the yogurt sticks and give those. Milkshakes with fruit/ protein powder added
